Yes, some of the original designs that we call prototypes tell the story of how we found Space Magic one day and couldn’t stop using it after that.
These museum pieces known as Tiny Texas houses, the Early Ones, are classics for the things they taught me in the progression to creating houses out of 95% Pure Salvage Organic Cottages. Let us take a quick walk through the options and then let us know when you can make it by to sleep in a house built from cellular tissue and Love, filled with human energy that harvested and formed the wood, created the glass, and formed the hardware well over a century ago.
Vicky II was the early design with an end entry in the 12′ x 20′ format.
Vicky One is the second house we built and it was 10′ x 17′. It too was an early pre space magic design.
The first Tiny Texas House ever created is the Red Mascot. It is a 10′ x 16′ classic batten board style house with a porch view that stretches for miles and miles all around. Sunrise and sunset from the same spot, at the end of the rainbow.
The Kidd is only 63 square feet on the first floor but you would never know it.
The Gingered Swan has a bed above, a great porch above and below, and sits in a quiet spot with a unique view.
Which interior goes with which house? Can you tell? Come stay in a couple and you will feel the difference that vintage wood offers to your life.
Shows the table up for the stairs.
This was the first prototype for Tiny Texas Houses. It is a 10′ x 16′ and has conventional sizing in the design. Space Magic Designs did not come until later.
There is a small kitchenette for coffee and tea.
If you are not afraid of heights, this is a great space to have an adventure and natural high.
With a twin bed below and another bed above in the loft, this is a great house for two. It even has a conventional toilet but only the Bath house for showers for the moment.
The second house we ever built, it was the victim of a tornado that tipped it over on its side and tore off both halves of the roof.
We set it aright and put the two halves back on and left the footprints on the ceiling as proof.
Spooky or adventuresome, you call it.
Tiny Kitchen with a fold out table…. hidden where?
This is big enough for a group to play some Scrabble or cards for the evening and will sleep three or four people.
Bed below and a bed above, a composting toilet, great view from the front porch, and birds in the trees all around.
A space to read, to sleep, to talk, and to relax… all in a tiny house. You can not see the rocker in the corner from the door way shot.
From here you can see the telephone with the direct line to Heaven. It even has a small writing desk for journaling.
OOOOPs, didn’t have enough room to fit all the answers at the end of this blog. Guess you will have to come see to be sure. Heh.
