This event is intended to line up the houses to be built for the next year, perhaps the last of the series to be built to leave the Tiny Texas Territories.
Yes, it is true, as that few orders will book us up for the next year and still allow us to build a few tiny houses for the Tiny Texas Villages.
So we now see the Arched Brownie’s windows fully trimmed and set for colors. His porch awaits the posts that will define this face the most, but certainly each corner turned brings more cool sights to toast.
An offset view with shade and sun still lets you see this sight of a family of these windows who will watch the world at night. With the father of them watching from the other gable too, they’ll get to see a thousand eyes look on with love, in truth.
They’ll be admired near and far for what they represent, the chance to grow a house from what so many thought was spent. Please savor all the arches for they are the soothing way that this house talks to the passers by on every given day. Appreciated, watched, and loved, what more could one house want, but an owner who would care for him and be his friend for life.

The glass in the arched windows is still the original hand blown wavy panes that were first put in a hundred years or more ago.
This is only 11′ x 18′ so it comes in at 198 sf for tax purposes and thus a portable building. This can get you around many codes and restrictions, especially if you do not hook it up for a toilet or shower, (that they know about). The same house with regular single pane rectangular windows would be $10,000 cheaper due to all of the extra work that arched windows require from start to finish.

Yes we are having a 2 feet more sale. In Tiny House numbers that is huge. In a house like this it adds over 10% more space to the inside of the house. During a short TTH two footed sale, we are going to prove how much of a difference two feet can make.
This is going to be a chance to get as much as 10% more house for the same money which means a bath or kitchen when you are talking tiny houses.
From a 12’x20′ to a 12′ x 22′ is the difference between having a nice Murphy Bed on a wall and still having a big living area or closets and a window seat at the far end of the living room.
Our bathrooms often do not use more than that much space, yes about 25 square feet and that will be added on to the house… for free if you wish to take advantage of a 2 week 2014 House Bookings Special.
This will give us a steady sequence to focus on and not be distracted by sales and showing people around as much as getting the design and build part flowing smoothly and perhaps getting some extra room out of that efficiency to fit in a third house per month to keep around here.
One could take this 10% discount in length and apply it to other features if they just had to have a house within a certain budget and did not want extra length, perhaps a back porch for the bonus instead. I plan to be flexible for two weeks in order to plan the new year with a group of new parents for my children of a Salvaged Imagination and Mind.

If you are not ready to buy the land and set up but want to get the house and make money on it soon after it is finished, then you could place your house on the Texas Territories and allow it to be used for sampling by people who want to try one out by staying the night. Thus you could be making a 9% return on your investment and even come stay in it now and then until you are ready to get the land and have the responsibilities that come with it.
So its not just a Tiny Texas House, it could be an income generator for you as well as your escape if you need one. All set up and humming for a weekend run away, providing it is not booked out to make your extra income. Might just call and book it for your self for free ahead of time.
Yes, it is true, you can make 9% annual return paid to you each year and thus buy the land with the income your Tiny Texas House can make while waiting for you to retire. Better still, there would be no penalty for taking the money out of retirement funds as it would be a second house with that exemption. Imagine making 9% a year on your retirement account as most are not. Plus it is an appreciating portable asset that you could sell if you wanted and still have the income made, and likely make a profit on the house too. What makes the house so valuable is that if someone stays in it and has to have it, you can let it go and they can move it to their ranch or new homestead.
This is part of my vision for the villages. You could own a Tiny Texas House and come for you vacations which would put you near Austin, San Antonio, and within and hour of the Gulf Coast or a bit more to Houston if you want the big city. The houses would be grouped into 1 acre villages with a common larger house for the big kitchens in the middle. Most of the smaller houses make great master suites and do not command a big kitchen so they work great in such a surrounding. We will take care of booking it out to Pure Salvage Living member who will take good care of it during their opportunity to sleep in an Organic Tiny House.
Nearby will be a number of activities as time goes by, including a market, music events at the amphitheater, and other villages with organic foods for trade, perhaps some artisans who work the market nearby, and hopefully a Holistic Health village with a healthy restaurant on front of the market. The arrangement would give people a low cost for the space and maintenance where the house would sit and all overhead would be deferred by the income above what you would be making from your house.
For the others who have a place to take their house, this is a golden opportunity to get your house for a good bit less and know you will have one before we transition in to exclusively building for the people who buy to put them in the villages. I hope you will take us up on the offer of being one of the last to get a Tiny Texas House for 2014 as we will stop taking orders if we reach 10 houses and wait until we work our way down in the spring or summer before repricing and taking any more orders for off site sales and deliveries.
