Now you can begin to feel the size and grandeur of this Tiny Texas House named the Retreat. The wiring is in, the foam is cured, the roof is about finished and we are ready to go in and put on the inner skins, loft, and bathroom walls. The hardest part is done.
The dormer sides are sided and the flashing is now in.
Here you can see the dormer with the bracing on the sides of the windows.
A nice view of the back of the house.
It looks so much cleaner once the foam is in and trimmed.
Lots of light and space inside this 300 sf first floor. Over all the house will have about 540 sf of floor space including the loft where the two bedroom areas will be and the sitting area under the dormer.
While adding a good chunk to the cost, the dormers are a huge benefit.
Upper loft end view.
Different angle for the loft view.
Wow, this looks big. That is the end where the kitchen and bath go.
