This was one of our first real thrusts into color and imagination a few years ago.
It was just a tiny thing and it ended up being quite cute.
It ended up in Bee Caves, Texas where I do believe you may just be able to stay over night these days as a bed and breakfast but I am not sure if they have finished with that dream yet.
Its been a year but I stumbled on these pictures of the house as it was made and decided to leave this blog for a trip down memory lane.
Hope you like it and check out some of the other photoblogs while here. Over 30 houses shown.
This is just a tiny little 11’x16′ house but it was full of personality.
Here he is while still sitting in Manifestation Bay.
Back view without the porch.
It was troublesome to get into place and set up.
On the way into his resting spot we did have quite a tilt. Made it hard to unload for sure.
The back door once in place with the back porch door to what will be a bath or path to it.
After the paint is added to the ceiling, and the oil is on the wall, with the window trim so special, this is does not seem quite so small.
You can see a close up of the trim along the door.
Some nice wide interior shots.
Nice shot of the entrance and the loft, before the other coats of paint were put on the ceiling.
Great shot from the inside looking out.
Interior end wall shot.
A cabinet made for holding clothes, towels, medicinal herbs, oils, and the little refrigerator.
The simple ladder as it was not to be used a lot.
Here is the before picture of the back door.
Final touches for the door panels.
While it was being made you can see the colors brightened once the oil was put on.
