Yes, we did not escape the cold spell but I think our critters were able to stay warm and will survive.
As we move the dirt and create the space for water to gather for the crops to grow down the road, we are also building a mountain of sorts where on we will meditate, exercise, and have an incredible view of the Big Texas Sky.
Some of the areas are laid out for the houses already and others will be laid out later, but we can easily fit 40 houses on this side of the 43 acres so as to have many lived in full time but most available for overnight stays and longer visits for seminars or internships as we grow a village and bringing together the knowledge of many for the benefit of everyone by creating a model of what we could do if we set our mind to growing sustainable villages, towns, and doing it with Tiny Houses and 95% Pure Salvage Living.
The road improvements have held up so as to open up the houses for the public in a couple weeks when the wildflowers start to bloom and Texas comes to life. Yeah!.
Thanks for following along. Soon we will be posting some information on the plans for Salvage, Texas as the TV show will be a go or no go this week so we can begin moving along again with a plan of one form or another.
