Yes, for those out of town clients traveling in to get a shot at some 1st Time Ever Warehouse Sale savings, it may include staying overnight in a Tiny Texas House.
We are going to have between 2 – 4 houses available for staying overnight in… but they are still not fully on grid so it would be an adventure for some, but a fun one I suspect.
For many this will be an chance for a fun escapade into the dark deep spaces, over 120,000 sf of warehouses in all, I know I downplayed it in the other blog because it takes so long to go through all of them that I don’t have the time to show it all to everyone that wants to see it, but, if a big enough group of serious buyers, decorators, or people ready to get their parts and pieces for their house to be, then we may have a couple of full length tours of the three locations.
BE AWARE: The tours through the warehouses could include tight spaces possible if you want to go into the deepest nooks, so all must sign Must Sign Liability Releases in case some one does something crazy by pulling things off the hundreds of shelves without proper help, or breaks windows, etc. Thousands of windows and sashes on site, cat poop, dirt, dust, slivers, and as it is cooler now, not so much the bugs, snakes, mice, or other things that scare some people far worse than the critter can do damage as it runs to get away.
We will be offering a few options just for the Sale….
Final decisions for the Tiny Texas House reservations will be linked to the appointment schedules that we may put together for this 1st Time Ever Sale.
to the Blue Moon with electric, heat, or cool, and a big bed, but showers are still in the Bath House.
Quite possibly Vicky One will be awaiting guests too if there is the demand, again with water, electric, heat, and cool, but still rustic in part, for the shower is in the Bath House.
rustic off grid at the Bear House but cozy in the woods, showers in the Bath House.
The Gingered Swan is still entirely off grid so the Bath House once more but it would be far more memorable than staying any hotel I have seen built in the last decade around Texas.
The Kidd is just a baby, indeed but 63 sf but for a romantic get away with a place to sit, to eat, to sleep, a shower perhaps and a treasure pot….. so the Bath House will likely be a spot you will see too, with lights, electric, and water its not entirely off grid but an adventure all the same.
This is what we have to work with as we try to plan the month with people coming in for this special and rare event. I will be discounting many things that are unique, from the ticket windows to the railroad depot in St. Louis, to the giant Catholic Church cabinets with the deep wardrobe drawers and gothic design.
So much to see and so little time and people to show the guests around so the more time they have here, the better and this may save some travel time to the hotels after the Hunt is over.
To that end, What is the Bath House?
