Yes, if you contribute to the GoFundMe site that was set up by a faithful follower for us then I will give you a free tour, normally $20 per person, so that you can learn how to build a toxin free house of any size with 95% Pure Salvage that will be sustainable, energy efficient, and last you for the rest of your life. The tour is a bit of a seminar about how to optimize your body, at any age, your home of any size, and your future as you reduce the stress, cost, and health issues compared to living in the consumeristic American Dream world we have been marketed for the last 50 years. We can do better, be younger, live without high property taxes, utility bills, and do so in a style unlike any that subdivisions and condos now offer.
So go to the GoFundMe site at: http://www.gofundme.com/pc3jms3k and contribute at least $10 for then get in touch through the Darby@puresalvageliving.com email to set up your tour time or group time if you get 8 or more people who will come together at a different time. That gives you special status and I will keep the seminar going until all questions are answered, and you will get to see 10-12 Tiny Texas Houses if they are all on site still.
If you do want to spend a night in a Tiny Texas House, a $75 contribution to GoFundMe will also get you a night in the Blue Moon, Vicky One, or Vicky Too as well as the tour.
This is an update letting everyone know more about the unique special seminar and tours of the village of Tiny Texas Houses that make up Salvage, Texas that I will offer to groups on extra days if we have more than 8 people who want to come at one time, with some scheduling on days other than our regular tour days just for this special offer.
>Normally, this is about a 1 1/2 to 2 hour tour, now starting at 10:30 on Wednesday and Saturday’s through end of September-October or until further notice.
I will open the times and days up for groups taking me up on this offer. As the weather cools, we can change the tour time without frying or freezing. This will be for September and October only with this offer and you can contribute from $10 to as much as you wish to help us get the ball rolling on funding making plans, getting a book out to teach others how to do this, and setting up the houses you will tour for staying in overnight so as to experience the benefits of organic housing too. We do have some available for overnight stays if you want to come and visit for more than just a tour.
Just so you know…. We are not open for visitors except by appointment during the week, and then it is generally from 9-5.
Yes, that later time has been about 25 degrees cooler to start at that time than the old schedule of 1 PM. Bring water and a sunbrella if you are sensitive to the sun. Sombrero works good too. Private tours for two will continue by appointment for $50 and will apply toward the purchase of a house, of course. We walk about a 1/2 mile by the time the tour is over and back to the front are, longer if you go to the top of Miracle Mountain.
The tour includes seeing as many as 12 Tiny Texas Houses that I have built including the first one, the Red Mascot, which is now on tour again. We show you the difference between the prototypes that I started with and the Space Magic effect that I apply now. The group tours are on Wednesday and Saturday and cost $20 per adult which will apply to the cost of a house if you do get one. Kids under 12 are free. Private tours are $50 for two people and call for larger groups, keeping in mind, it takes about an hour to 90 minutes to get through the whole tour. Starting at 10:30 on Wednesday and Saturday’s. The tour includes seeing as many as 12 Tiny Texas houses that I have built including the first one, the Red Mascot, which is now on tour again. We go through from the framing stages to the finished stages with a great deal of discussion on the issues that are involved in creating a toxin free body and a sustainably built, energy efficient, toxin free organic house.
That also includes my talking about all the issues in new construction are that are making nearly everyone sick and thus hopefully educating the visitors and hearing their stories they share about how new homes or things like vinyl windows have given them cancer, fibromyalgia, lupus, and other immune system disorders that are rarely disclosed to buyers of newly constructed houses, RV’s, and mobile homes. This is serious stuff folks, for the stories of leukemia, cancer, and sickness are rampant and directly associated with the formaldehyde and chemicals outgassing in the houses we live in today. I can not help but be sure to cover and emphasize this in order to help prevent ignorance from continuing this insanity for another generation. The evidence is undeniable and attributable to the increased in Autism, cancer, and immune system disorders without question. Doctors, builders, and lawyers will all most likely be upset by my talk for I do not take their feelings into consideration when defining who is largely to blame, failing to warn people, and protecting the industries contributing to this insanity continuing.
We do have a couple of Tiny Texas Houses nearly finished for sale, The Retreat and White Swan, but they are a bit taller than normal and would be a pain to get shipped to far out of Texas, particularly going EAST. In the meantime, you get to see three great houses under construction so as to see the process. Here are the houses and a couple shots of the warehouse that is on the tour normally. In some cases, if someone is spending the night or weekend in one of the houses, it may be on a more limited exposure tour. Here are some of the sights to see and be part of physically experiencing because everyone who goes into a newer version of a Tiny Texas House with the Space Magic at work will understand how space is truly a matter of perception.
The tours do cost $20 per adult, kids under 12 free, some exceptions for large groups, classes from school, and special appnt. tours require calling in advance for special scheduling as well. It is not unusual for us to have over twenty guests so bringing cash instead of using cards or checks does speed up the check in process so we appreciate you for thinking of that ahead of time too.
Sometimes we also roam by the Bear House to show a two story 10′ x 10′ prototype if people want to see it too.
See the top of Miracle Mountain as part of the tour and you will be standing on the highest point from here to the gulf of Mexico 140 miles away. Feel the breeze, the negative electrons flowing through the Pink Granite top and your feet, if you take your shoes off like me, and see the incredible giant Armenian Cucumbers growing from the side of the mountain. See the ponds, the village, and 360 degrees around from this point with the breezes blowing through your hair.
Stay for the night, and you can see the sunset, meditate, and feel the world in a way you never have before.
Join me for a day you will remember for the rest of your life, and spend only a hundred bucks for a good cause to make it all possible.
So just in case you do not know, we are not open except for appointment during the week, and then it is generally from 9-5. The group tours are on Wednesday and Saturday and cost $20 per adult which will apply to the cost of a house if you do get one. Private tours are $50 for two people and call for larger groups not scheduling on a regular time such as schools and tour buses. We do not have the manpower or time to escort people through when ever they just happen by and can not let people wander unescorted due to the many hazards and prior injury where a lady took 13 stitches in her calf from a fall. Thank you for understanding and calling if you have special needs or questions.
