The New Berlin, Texas Salvage Bootcamp is now officially “ON” for the end of September

Announcing the Fall Salvage Mining Bootcamp at Tiny Texas Houses!

Come join us for the biggest Salvage Mining Bootcamp yet!

We will be salvaging several buildings from a large estate.

There is a large, Victorian farmhouse circa 1890s, a smaller house from the same era, and several barns and outbuildings in New Berlin, Texas.

It has several outbuildings, barns, and a Tiny House over 100 year old that we also get to take down.

View video from one of our previous bootcamps to get you in the spirit!

I am announcing based on the belief that we do have enough response to justify the cost and management of another Salvage Bootcamp. TARGET DATES ARE SET FOR September 26th-October 5th. The location is in New Berlin, Texas which is right near Seguin, Texas, a nice small college town of 25,000. The site is only about 25 miles from TTH so you will have the chance to come back here each night if you wish.

These are some of the buildings that we’ll be salvaging:

an early arrival for the Bootcamp.... just auditing the class I am rather sure.

Here is where your chance to have input comes if you want to be part of it so please email us at info@puresalvageliving.com or info@tinytexashouses.com

Or call us directly at (830)-875-2500 if you are serious about being picked as we will definitely be limiting participation and likely have a short questionnaire to determine who will be selected to participate.

We only have a limited amount of space that will be open for others to live in as we grow our vision and build the Tiny Texas Territories with the materials so others can see the full cycle.

As this Renaissance spreads across the country it will need to be allowed to grow somewhat organically, yet planned to fit the bigger vision of an industry that will support this from the beginning to end.

If we have more than the allotted people apply to come for this event, we will have to limit the sign ups.  Thank you for letting us know either through here or on the Facebook site where we will also post this notice.

Salvage Mining is the perfect Growth with Human Energy and Ingenuity Business.

This will show you how easy it is to turn a free property into an opportunity to not only have a home, but a career in this incredible business of Salvage Mining. The Pure Salvage Outposts that sell the materials and the Salvage Building businesses that teach people how to build, are what we are in need of all over this country.  Get in while there is so little competition that your success is nearly guaranteed, if you have the passion and the honorable business ethos that the Pure Salvage Living Renaissance is bringing to life.

There will be tent camping or “Self-Contained Glamping” available at the site in New Berlin for free. There is no electricity, showers or kitchen, but there will be a Port-a-Potty onsite. So for you die-hard campers or those who will not have transportation during the Bootcamp, this is for you!

There is tent camping, glamping or RV camping available here at Tiny Texas Houses in Luling for $15 per night here on our 43 acres. RV’ers will have to have their own power source (generator, etc.) as we have not completed our RV hookups yet. But there is a bath house with separate showers for men and women.

We will also have 4 or 5 Tiny Texas Houses available to rent as well. Prices are $75 to $100 per night, depending on amenities. The houses that will be available are: Vicki 1, The Kidd, Teeny Gingered Swan, Bear House, and possibly the Blue Moon house. Rental period is for a minimum of each segment of the Bootcamps, Weekend 1, Full Week and/or Weekend 2. (15% Discount for previous attendees who want to stay in a house that they worked to help create!)

We are also working with a local caterer to provide inexpensive, nutritious meals for those who would prefer to purchase meals onsite, rather than going to restaurants for each meal. More details soon!

We will open it up to 25 working participants, of which a few will be volunteers with specific tasks and then with the rest of the group, have the chance to learn and get certified in taking down a house like this or some of the outbuildings. It will include training on the tools of our trade from the Skin Remover, Nail Kicker, crowbars, hammers, and more.   You could learn how to do it all if you choose, or just a bit of what you are primarily interested in, but we will expect most people who come to expect to work too so as to get these lessons to be learned and remembered.

Prime view of beaded wood that is worth about $9 per sq. ft. and up if kept in great condition and under varnish. That can be removed with nothing more than a scrub pad and full strength cheap ammonia cleaner.
