Here You Can See Down The Stairwell Before We Add The Safety Net.

Helen’s Loft is finally down and you can see how it will look

The loft for Helen’s Heaven has been mostly laid down now.
I will cut the hole to look like it was slowly melted out.
We’ll shape the top to hold the rails along with both the posts,
and put a stair like most won’t dare,
to get her down and up.

We will have ample light I’m sure,
and lots of air to boot.
There’s room for master bedroom
and a space for clothes and boots.

A home indeed if we succeed,
will soon be fully formed,
and we will move her into
the sweet village being born.

So soon the walnut oil will wet,
and bring out all the lines,
from centuries of growing
the gigantic Long Leaf Pines.

Then when the bathroom walls are up,
the cabinets done as well,
I think you will see someone smile,
when finally, they move in.

Almost looks like a reflection from below. It is the transom window that you see.

Here is a view of the edge and the hole for the stairs. The edge of the larger hole will be cut to a melt away look that we have done in the past.

This will be the first time we do a stair design with a loft this way. It will look better than this ladder, you can be sure.

On the far side is the bedroom and the closet over here. A sitting area and just perhaps a pot to pee in too.

Remember the house is only 11' x 21' so what is inside is bigger than it appears.

I am sure you can imagine all of these windows on the floor will be the house that you see now.
