I can sketch out at least three houses from the materials that will come from this one, perhaps even 5 tiny house packages of materials for houses that could be built anywhere in the world that we could ship a container to. Yes, in places that have not seen a 500 year old tree, let alone cut it down to make lumber out of it, you can purchase and ship the interior and exterior skins that will form the tiny house of your dreams. We can put the parts in a container and you can use them to put on the frame you build with local lumber.
This does have an aluminum siding on it which we will salvage of course, but nice benefit is the wood underneath should be in pretty good shape and not painted as much as normal.

Another great example of where some good planks will come from. These work great for the Texas Ranch house look.

Incredible shiplap on these old houses like this. I use this for walls when in good shape and subfloor or decking if not so great.

Look at the beaded wood, the trim on the windows, the gingerbread on the front porch with so many columns that all 5 tiny houses we create with the parts could have two or more each on their porches. This is an example of a house we are seriously thinking of tackling, salvaging, and offering up as a package so that a half dozen people can share in the next life of a house full of parts we can not make again. The wood can not be found standing as trees anymore for we have cut them all down a hundred years past. The skilled workers to hand cut much of the parts, to form the glass bubbles that were then cut to create the glass in the original windows, and much more is lost art now. The bricks are from a time when the fireplace was your only source of heat to cook on and heat the house. This is what we would like to see you and others be able to benefit from and thus help perpetuate a new way of thinking about the source of the materials to build new housing with. The Pure Salvage Living Renaissance is about saving this sort of giant old out of function and place old house by dismantling it carefully, saving 85% of it, and creating better houses for the modern world from what we gather. You could not cut the trees and create the materials we will get off from this house in a month or two, let along grow the tree it was cut from which took 500 more years. None of the average people out there could afford to pay for the human labor it would take to recreate these pieces, if you could find the raw materials. From the hardware in the doors to the wood that is the floors, nothing in this house can be bought in this day and age for a price most who are not in the upper class can afford to pay for now. So why pay? Just get into the salvage business and it will come for little more than the human energy it takes to salvage it and haul it away. Such a gift and often for free.

So here is the plan for this potential project. Some can even come and participate, learn to salvage, and get parts for their house to help reduce the cost of the package for a house. It will take some hard physical work to get into that part and not all will choose to do it, but this is the chance for those who might want to learn it all, from salvage mining to the salvage building. A house like this with so little sheetrock, toxic crap, lathe and plaster, sheetrock, insulation, and other toxic factors in salvage is relatively hard to find so when I do, I pay special attention and attempt to save them. Here is a chance to learn more about how, but also an opportunity to pick some of the best parts of the bigger house to create your personal Tiny Texas Parts house. For those who do just want to get the package of materials, possibly get some guidance and consulting on a design that will fit with the parts, and a chance to go home and then build your dream… this may be just the ticket. I expect to have 5 packages or more depending on how big we make them. This will take a huge amount of labor, logistics due to its distance from home, some on site camping and long hard hours, but I think it will be down in less than three, perhaps two weeks if we get the right people. Watch the El Campo Expedition and you will see that even three women over 49 and a few younger kids in their twenties, along with me, took a big old house down in 8 days.

First watch it to music with the words by me to keep you dancing as you dream of what you will do with your salvage package.
