I finally got a real day off as we visited a piece of my TTH history, the Canyon Lake B&B house.
It was a wonderful reunion and a chance to finally sleep in one of my favorite early Tiny Texas Houses.
This is located just a bit Northwest of New Braunfels, Texas on the shore hills of Canyon Lake. I highly recommend it as a place to get away from Austin, San Antonio, or anywhere in the world.
If you choose to try out a Tiny Texas House for a night or weekend, this is one you can not possibly go wrong at. The hosts are incredible for they think of everything you will need and put there for you.

Inside there are two journals where the guests have written of their experiences over the years. It was great to read of how many people loved staying in the house and feeling what I sought to create, the pure wood that covers all the walls, ceilings, and floors.
Many saw the Eyes of Texas hidden in the walls, some will see them, some will not, but they meant to add some fun. See you there I hope.
So well landscaped you could hardly ask for more variety or color.
The 12′ x 21′ house is a great size for you to see how fine it feels to sleep in a pure organic house. The Hot tub outside helps to savor the experience if you like too.
This is truly one of the prettiest lofts entrances I have built.
Each of the porch spindles is a bit different for they were turned long before we had exact copy lathe machines.
The fold down kitchen table works while up most of the time. Great place for breakfast, chats, and snacks or a game of cards.
The ladder offers more storage than most closets.
Another shot of the front door with its colored glass, great antique hardware, and beautiful trim gives the house great charm.
Through the bushes and over the rocks, the Tiny House waits for thee.
I look back into the years when I built this charming house. My style has changed but still I love its shadows and the light. The space is great to live in or just t take a break.
Beautiful prismatic colors casting all about, the beveled glass within these windows transforms sun inside.
Here is a 4′ wide tub with a matche set of play seats on the side. Roofing shingles clad the walls and it is ready fr a bath, or more.
The evening will be coming as the sun casts light within, and you will get to see the beauty that will make you want to sing.
A bit of the bath view with the mirror and the bath, it is a space worth visiting, and spending one sweet night
