Yes, due to demand, we have added a weekday for people to come and explore the Tiny Texas Houses of Salvage, Texas and walk amidst the ponds, trees, and a manifesting village built with 95% Pure Salvage, just like all of our houses.
The weekend and weekday time for tours is now 1:00 PM Saturdays and Wednesdays. It is a paid tour and will generally last for about 1 1/2-2 hours and goes back into the village a 1/4 mile, so wear some comfortable clothes (as in cool). At the moment we have 10-11 houses on the tour that you get to walk through, perhaps the chapel too if it is still there. The ponds, underground caverns, even a walk up on Miracle Mountain are optional. We will answer the many questions and likely teach you far more than you want to learn about healthy organic houses, living, and loving transitioning into tiny spaces so you will have more time to spend enjoying life rather than servicing debt, insurance, and maintenance of a house that gives you no love back. Our houses do give you love back and last longer than you likely will, so they will be giving Love to the next generation too.
Come for the tour, spend a night in a Tiny Texas House and enjoy the frogs croaking, birds singing, and a morning in the woods of Salvage, Texas with lots of paths to walk, and a chance to actually dream of your tiny houses while sleeping in one of mine.
Walk amidst nature, learn about salvage building, mining, and even how to build a family compound like a tiny village that lets each person have a master suite and then a common eating and kitchen house to share the chores and commune with your friends and family in.
Just updated for all weekends in June and perhaps half of July or not, depending on how June goes, the weather holds, and what our future brings. For now though, do consider coming to see the manifestations of my imagination from pure salvage so that you too can be inspired to create your future out of the free things at your fingertips.
We did have it move to 12 pm but the lunch, lack of it before is not good, and lunches are needed before the tour so as to not get a low blood sugar issue along the way and have to crash out in a Tiny Texas House for the rest of the day….. though you can actually rent one for that purpose too if you wish, and wake up to the birds, frogs, and nature calling in the morning, …. along with the rooster.
If interested in coming to the tours you can contact us at Michelle@tinytexashouses.com and sign up, leave your phone number in case there is a schedule glitch or major rain out event, and come for a visit into a world that few consider as we come up with ways to live sustainably and downsize with respect for our planet and the generations that will follow. Again, new tour hours are 1:00 pm on Saturdays and Wednesday of each week until further notice.
