Just a quick update on the beautiful growth of all the vegetation and progress on creating an oasis in the middle of Texas. Outside the city where the stress unwinds, we offer one small island in the midst of it all. Hope you can come visit and stay in one of the houses one of these days and see what an Organic Cottage feels like, sleeps like, and know why I will never quit singing the Songs of Salvage while I live.
jThe Gingered Swan sits in the green foliage with a view of the ponds, Miracle Mountain, and wildlife all about.
This pond has the clearest water of the upper ponds so far. Soon the ground cover will be thick enough and root systems deep enough to limit the run off of the silt that some show now.
This is the second highest elevation pond of 9 on the property now. Over a mile and a half of shoreline where as three years ago there was no standing water on the property, now millions upon millions of gallons feed the wildlife and will make it possible to grow food now, year around.
The sky is in the water and the pond is in the sky, for that is where this whole pond came from.
The Bear Den is surrounded in greenery as well.
Babydoll stands where Molly’s trailer was just a week ago. Don’t worry Babydoll, she said she will be back soon.
This is a great family of sunflowers. I have 5 species growing for the birds to eat.
The bath house for out RV guests as well as many who live here in the tiniest of the houses for a short visit.
Here is the collection of some of the signs that will go on posts around the property this weekend.
Each of these signs is done on a piece of wood over 100 years old. Ondrea has created some great color schemes too.
For more information on the B&B platform, coming for a weekend retreat, or a healthy seminar on body, mind, or house, or a tour, we hope you will make it by for a visit one day.
