All of these pictures show what can be done with salvaged materials. The real purpose behind this page is to teach others what is possible to use instead of new building materials, and how to create as much usable space as possible out of tiny spaces so as to help people imagine living smaller instead of larger, even within larger spaces.
For now though, The Homesteader is priced at only $97,500 where it is so there will be some costs to move it which will be up to the buyer. So the closer it stays to McKinney, Texas, where it sits now, the less expensive it may be to move. How far can it go? Nearly anywhere in the country in Texas, but not so much in the cities.
When designing, I would take the parts the client wanted, such as a fancy door, windows, or other part, and then focus the style of the house around that.
