Yes, though she has not had electric or water, she has been the destination for many young couples already and the adventure seemed to be a great thrill for them. See how they are dressing up now and perhaps consider getting out of the city, listening to the frogs for a night of peaceful rest, and perhaps a bit of romantic adventure. Bring your best love and desire for a break away and walk to the top of Miracle Mountain, the highest point from here to the Gulf of Mexico. Walk down under into the manmade caverns that are cool by day, no matter what the temperature outside.
Here is the Gingered Swan.
Nestled in the trees.
With a great view of the ponds and Miracle Mountain.
Here is Elijah who will probably check in on you now and then as he guards the property at night.
When you first walk in it does have a nice mix of lines.
The steps all have storage drawers within.
The steps viewed from the top, with the guardrail from the top keeping all from falling down.
Not a bunch of furniture upstairs, but more will come.
The stained glass windows keep a nice shade in the room and privacy.
From here you can hear the frogs sing and even sleep out on the porch at night.
Here is a view from the loft of Miracle Mountain and the ponds.
You can hike to the top or visit Tombstone Falls at the bottom on the far side of the pond.
If such a visit tickles your fancy you can find out more about a stay at the Air BnB site for this house. We have others as well, bigger, with more amenities and look forward to your visit for a night or two in an Organic Cottage created by Tiny Texas Houses.
Here is the first day she had her porches up in the spot she still sits a year later.
Likewise the Vicky Too which is close by but hidden by the thick trees.
My first tiny house sits over the Interstate 10 with a great view of the sunrise, moonrise, and countryside, not to mention those rushing by below. It too is available for overnight if you like the white noise of the highway instead of frogs and crickets that are out by the Gingered Swan.
Vicky One is closest to the bath house and furthest from the Gingered Swan for it was the first house to moved into the back to be lived in, and I personally lived in it for more than a year. You can for a night or two as well.
