The following Blog contains a number of great links to videos that show how these were created and how the houses were taken down.
There is also a link to the last Salvage Bootcamp of 2014 at the New Berlin, Texas Salvage site. Check out the links below to learn more and sign up to be part of a limited crew on an incredible house and get first shot at buying some of the materials straight from the House.
The Arched Zebu and Vicky Zebu were both substantially created from the interior woods of El Campo.
Guess which house each interior belongs to. Not so hard is it?
This is what the Salvage Mining Tutorials and the Bootcamps are all about. If you learn how to do this too, then others will learn from you. That is how I grow the Pure Salvage Living Renaissance.
The El Campo Expedition, as seen on the Pure Salvage Living Youtube channel, will show you how this great house was taken down.
Pictures by 1401 Studio with Angela Free. check them out if you need help in Midland, Texas. They did a great job on these.
See the beaded wood from each of the different colored rooms mixed together to create these color schemes. Some will love it and others hate it but I personally love the old Milk Paint colors showing through the Walnut Oil. See the centuries of life possible from a single tree cut down in the mid 1800’s that will now nurture and protect people for another hundred years or more if taken care of well. There may well not be a tree like the ones this wood came from still alive on the planet before this house is dismantled in a hundred years because the parts will be so rare and valuable.
Here are some great shots of the source, the El Campo Expedition.
Now are you wondering how we did it? Want some details and video training? Guess what?
Please consider joining us for the New Berlin Bootcamp from September 25th through October 5th. You do not need to attend for the whole thing as part will be house, other parts will be the outbuildings.
Here is the video on what started as the Ark De Triumph Americana and ended up named Big Brother.
You could not only learn, but get certified to work and get paid in trade with materials for the house of your dreams in return for your labors.
On the other side, the future for the moment:
Another great and last of the year Bootcamp. It is official NOW! But only for a select and limited group for safety and managerial sanity reasons.
So for those who thought El Campo was a cool project, well this going to be even better. Hope you can join us and take action to change your world with salvage soon.
Please visit the puresalvageliving. com site for the giant gallery of shots of the Zebu Sisters, the El Campo Expedition, and the newest and best Salvage Bootcamp yet at New Berlin, Texas. Open to the public for training, and it may be the last one this year. The house we will take down is comparable to the El Campo Bootcamp for its quality of it’s wood and character, but fancier by far. Please share and find a friend to come with you for the adventure in Salvage that most only dream of but never take the time to act on and thus open the door to the free materials it will take to build tiny houses for the rest of your life.
