White Swan reversed course a bit this week to venture instead into untested territory. Here we have a step up walk in pantry with some stained glass doors instead of the 2 square feet of lost counter. I have plan to make up for that too, but for now, this gives you an idea of how we can grow space inside of a tiny space. Now we can get lots of food storage, canisters on many shelves, and pretty doors to hide the mess, as well as a broom. This actually makes the room feel bigger if you ever get to see it in person.
Sorry but I did not get todays pictures in until after dark. We loaded up our third trailer of lumber from the New Berlin Salvage Mine today and it was and incredible load of long boards, many over 20′ long.
Many of the boards that we brought in today may become loft flooring for this house soon, as well as Rodney’s Retreat.
I took out the Pink Granite and opted for a different take we have not tried before with the pantry in the corner to add the depth of space and actually make the space seem bigger too.
With the angle on the bathroom door so you can not even see it there, we have the bigger space on the back wall which gives us tons of room, as Tiny Houses go, for a deluxe kitchen.
Thanks for following the changes of the kitchen as we go.
