Here are the most updated White Swan cool shots of the newest stair design now built for a Tiny Texas House that is easy to climb and has tons of storage space as well. The redesign of the loft floor will allow for a walkway to the closet and stair with plenty of space around the guard rail that will still be put at the top of the stair and around the open hole to below.
Across the house you can see how much space has been opened up for the kitchen. Perhaps still a fold up table, some shelves above, and more.
From the kitchen looking to the far side of the room. To the left of the stairs could still go a twin Murphy bed (fold down) so as to not use up much room and still get the front door open and get around it when it’s down.
The bathroom does have a door at an angle so as to hide it from view unless you walk around the corner.
Close up of the storage. The wide steps are 14″ apart in height which is great for storage or for books. Fold up table for a desk and you are in business.
Here you can see the alternating step design. This is not new, just different.
Here is the way we go down for the 5/6th steps from the bottom.
Here is the first two at the top.
Top view before taking the first step. Really not a big deal, just think left right but don’t go forward with the right foot first.
Here you can see the clever extension of the floor to give a wider walk to the closet and stairs from the sitting area.
Outside shot of the White Swan before I modify the front porch a bit more. May add a third post and will definitely be putting another crossbeam in so as to support a porch roof deck too.
